Ready to Awaken More of Your Greatness and Claim Your Authentic Space?
Within you right now is an incredible source of power.
It is estimated that the average human being has over a trillion cells in their body that are all engaged in a myriad of life-sustaining transactions and interactions. Each of these cells is said to be able to hold 1.17 volts. Do the math and you will realise that that’s an incredible amount of potential that is present at our fingertips.
Yet how many of us are fully activating, engaging and using that innate potential every day?
While many of us take this essence for granted, we have all had experiences where we know without a doubt that something bigger moves through us and within us.
Often, it is in the moments when we are most engaged in our highest and most meaningful work that this ‘flow of energy’ presents itself to us. We are here to make a difference, and while we cannot simply rely on our own energy to fuel our endeavours and pursuits, we need to be willing to find those unique ‘points of presence’ in our lives where our greatest energy and potential is activated.
Living from Your Sweet Spot
Your G-Spot, or ‘Greatness Spot’ as I like to call it, represents the divine intersection of your greatest talents, gifts and abilities. It is also the point at which you expand seamlessly into your highest potential, where time seems to stop, energy flows and you awaken a greater essence within your being.
It is in this place that your passion meets with your true purpose. In the same way that a tennis player knows what it is like to hit a ball from the sweet spot of their tennis racquet, when you find your G-spot, and then dedicate your life to living from this place consistently, your world changes.
Discovering Your Unique Point of Presence
One of the greatest challenges for most visionary leaders is that their message fails to stand out from the deafening noise of the crowd. Learning to differentiate and position yourself as an authority in your field is fundamental for success.
However, many people focus too widely when attempting to captivate, move and influence their audience. Before you can influence others, you first need to be in congruence with yourself. Identifying your own personal G-spot will help you get clear on your essence and help you define your own personal brand.
So how do you find your G-spot?
Well, it’s most often found at the intersection of:
What you are great at (your talents, skills and innate abilities).
What you love doing (your passions and purpose in action).
How you serve and contribute in the greatest way (your path of service)
Finding Purpose and Making a Sustainable Living from It
According to the guys at Hustle & Grind, your true energy, calling and purpose is often found at the intersection of:
What you love doing
What you are great at
And what helps you be of service to the world
But in order to transition from just having a ‘job’ to fulfilling your ‘calling’, you must be willing to also find the fourth element … which is your ability to monetise your passion and turn it into something that fulfills you financially as well.
5 Essential Tips to Claim Your Space Now
Working and living from a place of purpose and calling takes commitment. It takes a decision to value yourself, and your gifts enough that you consciously choose to follow your own inner-calling for a life of more. It also means preparing yourself to receive the rewards of that decision when you finally are ready to take the leap into your genius, your place of flow, your unique offering for the world.
Tip#1: Take Time to Work Strategically on Your Own Life or Business
In a world of constant busyness, uncertainty and distraction it can be difficult to find time to stop and reflect on what we ‘really want’ our lives to be about. Taking regular retreats, creative sojourns, attending reflective workshops and growth programs can help us create the space that is necessary to receive the inner-wisdom of our soul.
Tip#2: Follow Your Own Path
You are unique individual. With more than 7 billion people on our planet, there is no one exactly the same as you. Instead of buying into societies conditioning of competition and comparison with others, we are all being called to simply find our own unique gifts and stand out as the beacon of light we came to be. When you consciously accept that you are already ‘more than enough’ and give up the ego’s constant comparison to others, you free yourself to live the life YOU were born to live.
Tip#3: Greatness Already Exists Within You
We have all experienced moments in our own lives where we found ourselves in a state of flow, connected creativity, where time disappeared, and we were lost in a pastime or activity that engaged us. In these moments, when we drop into our present consciousness, we literally open the door to our higher-self, our greatest self to shine forth and be present. Greatness already exists within you. Simply get lost in what you love and you will find the path home to your soul’s magnificence.
Tip#4: Let Down Your Shields and Walls
Take a look at the shields and walls of protection that have served to keep safe. Let go and release those that no longer serve your highest good. Walls and shields create separation from our truth. While they may keep vulnerability at bay, in reality they consume tremendous amounts of our unconscious energy to maintain their presence. Freedom begins the moment we are willing to drop our shields, masks and walls, and allow the light of healing to fill past wounds and cracks and restore our past into wholeness.
Tip#5: Ignite Your Own Inner-Light and Be a Beacon for Others
Every experience we have ever had serves as a teacher to help us become more of who we were truly created to be. There is no greater path that one can take than to simply find their own light, truth and path, and to then BE a beacon of hope and possibility for others. From the abused housewife that finds the strength to form a group for other woman, to the young teen that sees an opportunity to serve the homeless. Now is the time to claim your space. To find your true calling and centre and be a greater ‘light for the world’.

I recently gave a talk to an audience on the power of living fully in our lives. The quest for finding the essence within us that makes us live each and everyday with a greater sense of purpose, passion and presence in our world.
As a transformational coach, intuitive and medium I’ve often experienced situations where client’s loved ones have presented with messages of encouragement, wanting them to make the most of the precious gift of life that they have been afforded.
And if there is one thing that separates those soul-centred leaders who have managed to create, and craft lives of greatness, it would be their ability to connect with a deep sense of PURPOSE and MISSION in their lives.
But what is it that really gives our lives meaning?
What is it that can provide us with greater purpose and direction, even in the moments when we feel lost and off-track?
I believe it’s our capacity to connect with a deep sense of mission, a greater ‘why’ that goes beyond just achieving success and instead encourages us to craft a life of greatness.
So, here’s a simple but powerful exercise that will help you connect with what’s really most important to you in life …
Life Success: Starting with the End in Mind
Several years ago, Stephen Covey, best-selling author of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People defined one of the habits as being ‘Starting with the End in Mind’.
However, when it comes to our own lives, it can be easy to forget that we are only here for a limited amount of time, that our journey in this ‘Earth School’ will eventually come to an end.
So, if you really want to find more purpose, direction and passion in your life, start by asking this one question:
“What do I want to be remembered for when I die?”
This one question is powerful in its own right for it will help you uncover what is really important for you in life.
You may even want to imagine yourself travelling forward in time to your 80th birthday, or even to your own funeral service and imagine:
What are people are saying about you?
What do they remember you for?
What do they say was most important to you in life?
What stories and events do they feel shaped and defined your life?
What difference and impact did you make?
How did you contribute and enrich people’s lives?
What is the legacy that you left behind?
It’s a powerful process that will help you uncover your ‘true values’ in life.
Afterall, we can’t take money and material possessions with us into the next world, but what we will take and gather are the experiences, the memories, the relationships and the connections that we have made along the journey.
Time to Reimagine Your Future
Remember, the greatest gift that you have been given as a human being is in your ability to visualise, imagine and recreate your future.
If the life you have been living and the results you have produced are not what you wanted, then the good news is that you can choose to leave the past and recreate a new future by simply committing to change your approach, change your values, change your decisions and change your behaviour.
One of the greatest benefits of asking the question above is that it will allow you to see what needs to change in the time that you have remaining on the earth plane. It will also encourage you to create a new sense of purpose and mission, a powerful and compelling reason for being that will move you forward.
Make the Most of Your Dash
If you’ve ever wandered through a cemetery you may have seen the myriad of tombstones celebrating the lives of the individuals that once graced this wonderful planet. What all of these people had in common is that they were all born and they all had an expiry or end date. In fact you’ll often see this represented on the headstones by a birth year and end year.
But what is it that often separates these two years – a dash. It’s what we do in the time that we have left that makes the most difference. It’s value is in how we choose to contribute, how we choose to live, in the moments of joy that we choose to fill our lives with, who we choose to love and we choose to love them.
So, if you’re wanting to make the most of the dash that you have remaining, take some time out to carefully look at and review ‘What’s most important to you in life’. Too many people spend their entire lives climbing the ladder of success, status and materialism only to find out that the ladder was against the wrong wall.
Live Your Life Without Regret
Choosing in favour of your highest values and what’s most important to you will help you live a life that is rich, happy, meaningful and fulfilling. It’s just one way to ensure we don’t arrive at the end of our lives with regrets, wishing that we could have done things differently.
According to Australian nurse and author, Bronnie Ware, one of the greatest regrets in life for most people is that they never lived a life that was true to themselves.
Asking “What do I want to be remembered for when I die?” provides a powerfully way to connect with our own mortality, but in a way that can help you ignite the path forward to live fully by choosing to live a life that is true to your own self, your own desires and your own spirit.
So, make sure to take some time and answer this question today.
It could be one of the most purpose-filled and meaningful exercises that you could do for your life!

On the path of greatness, we are all being encouraged to connect with our true purpose and passion, and to live lives that fully reflect the greatness that is present within our own beings.

Wow … how exciting! Have you realised that we’ve entered a brand new gateway to another year that is so full of possibility, opportunity and potential for helping us live more fully from our highest life and soul purpose?
A New Year … And So Much New Potential
Like many people around the world I had a chance to take some time over the Christmas holiday period to simply rest, replenish and set a new foundation for the year ahead. I often find that the quiet period between Christmas and New Year is perfect time for doing a short ‘life review’, and starting to get clear on intentions, outcomes and pathway forward for the year ahead.
However this year I found myself being really challenged. Because no matter ‘how hard I tried’ to review my personal goals and business plan, I just couldn’t seem to connect with the true passion and purpose that I know helps ‘light my inner-fire’ and fuels me forward towards happiness and joy.
Now, I’m not sure if you’ve ever experienced moments like this in your life??
Moments where you felt dis-engaged from true purpose?
Or where you found parts of yourself in conflict with each other?
Creating a New Life with New Meaning
The good news is you are not alone! Even the most successful, inspired and dynamic people on the planet find themselves in the ‘valleys’ of life, waiting for the next breath of air to lift them back up the mountain of purpose, meaning and fulfillment.
Serendipitously, in the moment of my own ‘valleyness’ (yes that is a word that I just invented!) I came across some notes on the unfolding of personal ‘Entelechy’ that inspired me back to purpose!
defn. Entelechy – Meaning the realisation of potential.
The condition of a thing whose essence is fully realised.
A vital force that directs an organism towards self-fulfilment.
You see … every living organism on the planet has its own innate intelligence and potential. Just as the entelechy of the acorn seed is to grow into a large oak tree, just as the small green caterpillar will one day transform into the magnificent Ulysess Butterfly, you too have a program for great success, happiness and meaningfulness programmed within you. This often hidden, yet innate potential is usually found at the intersection of your own personal sweet spot i.e. what you love to do, your innate talents and gifts, and your soul purpose and desires.
At a deep level of being there is an aspect of your soul and spirit that already knows your highest purpose. Often for most people it is simply our conditioned fears, self-doubts and limiting beliefs that keep us separated from realising our own greatness and purpose.
What Aristotle Knew about Potentiality
Greek philosopher and scientist Aristotle was one of the great proponents of Entelechy. He realised that who we are is much more than just our physical body. That among the cells, organs and tissue is a far greater organising power – a subtle but powerful essence that permeates our entire consciousness. When our soul truly connects with this essence we become alive, our inner-flame is fanned into being, our work takes on a higher and more important level of meaning, and we become truly alive again.
So as we start 2015 how can we engage more of our own personal entelechy? How can we align ourselves over the next 12 months towards action and inspiration that is aligned with our highest good? And most importantly, how can you ‘Live More Fully from Your Purpose’?
I’d like to encourage you to take just 5 minutes from your ‘busy-ness’ to contemplate the following questions.
What’s my true essence?(i.e. Who are you really? Who are you being guided to become?)
What’s my blessing?(i.e. How am I being called to use my gifts/talents to make a difference?)
What’s my mission?(i.e. What am I here to do? How am I here to serve and create value?)
Each of these questions will help you to connect more deeply with your own Entelechy – your soul’s higher organising power.
Write the answers down.
Keep them with you.
Remind yourself often of their importance to you.
Let them become the guiding star by which you make all your important decisions this year.
Let them become the sail by which capture the heart of success, happiness and prosperity and that guide you vessel to a new and more meaningful destination this year.
So, what’s your essence?
What’s the true essence of your soul that seeks to express itself in 2015?
I’d love to know. So make sure to post and share your thoughts with us here online.

Well, it’s almost the end of another year, and if you’re like most people you’ve probably been busy getting ready for Christmas and the Holiday Season.
While December is usually a very busy time for most people, its also provides a great opportunity to take a some time away to reflect on the year that has passed, and to set your intentions for the new year to come.
So today I’d like to share with you a simple life strategy that really has made a significant difference in my life over the last few years that I have been using…
… and very simply its called ‘Setting a Life Theme’.
So What’s a Life Theme?
You see often we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to set goals and to make New Year resolutions that simply don’t come to fruition, or that simply don’t inspire or uplift our lives.
Setting a Life Theme on the other hand is more playful, more engaging, and is less definitive. It really is the canvass upon which you the artist can freely paint the story of your life over the coming year.
So what is a ‘Life Theme’? It’s a general theme or intent for how you would like to see your next year manifest. It becomes the metaphor by which your conscious and unconscious intentions are aligned to create, manifest and bring into being your highest life.
Examples of Some Life Theme Intention Might Be …
Sailing Easily Into an Ocean of Prosperity
Standing Up, Stepping Out, Living Courageously
Being the Change I Want to See
Embrace the Truth of Love in all I Do
Celebrate the Gift of Life One Day at a Time
Living Life on Purpose
Devotion to the Divine Within
3 Keys for Setting a Great Life Theme in 2014
Key #1 – Make it Engage Your Heart and Soul
It probably goes without saying – the best life themes are those that fully engage your whole heart and soul. So be playful, make it engaging, allow it to express your highest intent for the year ahead.
Infusing your theme with positive emotions helps to energise it and make it even more attractive, accelerating its opportunity to manifest and present in your life.
Ideally your life theme should stretch you beyond what is comfortable, yet be inspiring enough to make you cry!
Key #2 – Make Sure It Serves the Greater Good
It has been scientifically proven through muscle testing that the most potent and life affirming goals are usually those that have a greater outcome, a greater purpose. When your life theme not only serves you, but also serves others, and the greater good – then that elevates the vibration of your theme in consciousness allowing it to create with greater effectiveness.
Key #3 – Make It Short – And Give It Focus
As human beings we often like to complicate things. We like to make our goals and dreams often more fancy and elaborate than we need them to be. While clarity gives power, too many words and too greater dialogue also create confusion and chaos.
So make your life theme short. If you can manage to write your theme for the year in just 2-3 words then you extract the core essence of its nature. A few words also gives you the flexibility to allow consciousness and creation to manifest your intent in a myriad of ways without being tied down to just one physical form, way or method.
Going Within to Find Your ‘True’ Life Theme
Finally, remember that your ‘true’ life theme doesn’t exist within your head. Its actually held deep within your heart and soul. So make sure to use the accompanying mediation process to go within, to seek the Divine within you, to reach into the core of your heart and see where your soul wants you to navigate and manifest in 2014!
Are you capitalising on your unique gifts, talents and abilities?
Are you presenting to life each day – knowing you are flowing in your mastery?
Just recently I was doing an intuitive reading and guidance session for a client who wanted to know more about their life and career path for this life time.
It’s a question that I am often asked in my coaching, mentoring and guidance sessions because everyone wants to live a more meaningful and purposeful life. Now more than at any time in history individuals like your self are being called, and almost ‘pushed’ to step up, own their own power and share their personal message and life story.
So whether you are in business, or just seeking to find greater happiness and fulfilment in your own life, realise that the moment for living your purpose is NOW. In this instant, in this moment, you have the opportunity to embrace the gift of life that you have been given, and the ability to not only change your own life, but in doing so make a significant difference in your world.
Your Life Is Your Message
It was the famous Indian civil rights campaigner Mohandas Gandhi who brought greater attention to the possibility that maybe “our life was indeed our message”.
Within each and every one of us is a unique tapestry, a unique and glorious story of endurance, of learning to love self, of overcoming hurdles and obstacles that only we, and our souls, have chosen to experience in this lifetime.
The key however, is that your unique story is GOLD. It is the stuff that everyone who calls themselves human may go through in a lifetime. It contains the lessons and revelations that can set your soul and spirit free – to be who you are, free from the expectations, desires and beliefs of others.
Award winning Canadian/American actor Michael J Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991. Since then he has used the experience to be a prime advocate for raising awareness and money for this debilitating condition.
While actor, film director, producer and screenwriter Christopher Reeve, renowned for his role as Superman, became a quadriplegic after being thrown from a horse in 1995. Christopher later went on to become a prominent international speaker, and campaigner for stem-cell research and funding for those with disabilities.
How amazing that at some level of consciousness, a man who played the role of someone with super-human abilities, would find themselves in the extreme opposite position, but still harness the power, the belief and spirit of certainty within themselves, to inspire and move other human beings to action – through love?
Flowing in Your Mastery
Apart from the hardships, obstacles and challenges, all of us have also experienced times in our lives where we were just ‘flowing in our own mastery’. The times that we are so connected and engaged in what we are doing, through a perspective of self-less love and service, doing what brings us immense joy, that time seems to slip away, that we become almost one with the moment, and through which some ‘greater force’ seems to flow through us.
Many in our world have started to awaken to the possibility, that maybe, just maybe, we were placed here on this Earth for a reason. That maybe when we are engaged in using our talents, gifts and abilities for a greater good, for a good outside of ourselves that magic has the opportunity to break down the door, and show us the path to a greater freedom, happiness and fulfilment.
Flowing in our mastery therefore becomes the intersection, the union of three self-paths.
The Path of Personal Love – what ignites us, what inspires us and fills our souls with happiness
The Path of Personal Purpose – the ability to use our gifts and talents in ways that bring greater meaning and purpose to our lives
The Path of Personal Service – the place where we are making a difference and contributing to the people, places, organisations and causes that we are most passionate about.
Distilling Your Core Essence – Finding Your Sweet Spot
All great tennis players and golfers know that in their respective sports there is a moment of contact made between racquet/club and the ball, where the contact is pure, whole and complete. Destined in many ways for complete perfection – the way the club or racquet was designed and crafted best to operate.
So too, you have a personal sweetspot. A place of pure essence, of uniqueness, of divine perfection within from which your highest work flows. The great masters, leaders and teachers of our time, were great because they simply found their sweet spot, and then found ways that they could encompass it regularly in their lives. They literally lived from a place of pure core essence.
So how do you distil your core essence? How do you find and captivate your personal sweetspot in life? How do you awaken your personal charism or unique note that you are here to share?
After many years of doing coaching, mentoring and reading sessions with clients one great truth seems to be evident. At the core of our souls and beings – we already have a sense of our ‘core essence’. It has usually been a part of our life journey and has continued to unfold along the way.
Exploring Your Life Story
So here are some questions that will help you engage in a personal dialogue. A personal mining expedition into your own soul. A journey to discover your own path:
What were the moments that illuminated your soul?
What were the moments that created greatest challenge? What did you learn? Who were your being encouraged to become?
When were you engaged with your highest and greatest work? What needed to happen in your environment to create this
What is a story of struggle from you past which you overcame?
What is the lesson or message from this story that you most need to share?
Permission to Be the Best You that You Can Be
Finally, remember, this life has been given to you as a gift. Seek within to find your own answers, your own path, and know and trust that your life is no accident.
Recently rum company Barcadi promoted a famous quote of Oscar Wilde that read …
“Just be yourself; Because everyone else is taken!”
In this new age of consciousness, we are now starting to realise that we don’t need to be carbon copies of everyone else. That it is indeed our uniqueness, our differences that make us valuable.
Living in your greatness therefore becomes a different quest. A quest to stand out from the crowd and own our difference.
Each of us has been given a different life experience for a purpose. When you awaken the power of gratitude to be thankful for even the most challenging experiences, then like Michael J Fox or Christopher Reeve, you may just open the door to your greatest gift in this lifetime.
